Owner John Matthews started racing karts in 1977 with his dad in Northern California. After years of dreaming he started TMS Racing, Inc. in 2003 to service the local kart tracks in Phoenix, AZ. In 2005 John decided to expand his engine building services from TaG and other 2 cycles to include 4 cycle engines. He began apprenticing with legendary engine builder Mike Clements in 2006 and in September 2007 John purchased Heartbeat Racing Products from Mike and Kim Clements. He continues to work daily providing the quality products and services racers and engine builders have come to expect from the Heartbeat name. Take a trip through our site, check out or products and services and let us know what else you need, we just might be working on it.
